The 2025 Miss Black Hills Roundup Bethany Behrendt, Princess Kendall Gillen, and Junior Miss Morgan McGuckin reflect on what the titles have meant to them. They share stories of traveling to rodeos and community events across multiple states, riding in all kinds of weather, and building connections while representing Belle Fourche, rodeo, and agriculture. Each talks about the horses that carried them through competitions and appearances, from barrel racing and pole bending to flag carrying and horsemanship. They also open up about getting started in rodeo, the support from family and friends, and the chance to mentor younger kids showing livestock. With autograph sessions, parades, stock shows, and plenty of time in the arena behind them, the three look forward to what comes next once they pass the crowns.
