Belle Fourche Broncs Hold Off Custer

Players from the Belle Fourche Broncs football team looked back on their gritty matchup with Custer, where the team pulled together for a solid finish. Spencer Bush-Graslie shared how the group flipped the script after trailing at halftime, pointing to a late forced fumble that shifted momentum, while Gavin Pearson recalled a bold fourth-down pass that sealed the deal. Emitt Lipp talked about the effective runs and screens that opened up opportunities, and Mason Nehl noted the squad’s growing cohesion from summer camp onward. Marek Manke added that early-season hurdles have given way to stronger performances lately.  Head Coach Sean Sweet is proud of the team’s progress and highlighted the offense’s bounce-back at Custer, with freshman quarterback Reven Audiss handling the reins well.  The team travels to Lakota Tech this Friday.
