Goat tying was a bigger challenge 60 years ago. Shirley Hett Mackey of Buffalo, SD shares high school & college rodeo memories from the 50s and 60s. Shirley was the 1959 South Dakota High School Girls Cattle Cutting State Champion and the 1961 South Dakota High School Rodeo Queen. Shirley also reviews the tradition of many great rodeo athletes in Harding County.
